Risks and Limitations
DNAlysis Biotechnology operates a laboratory with effective operational processes in place for handling samples. However laboratory errors such as, by way of example only, sample or DNA mislabelling or contamination and failure to obtain an interpretable report, can from time to time occur. DNAlysis also has effective processes in place to protect against technical and operational problems which might result in it being unable to obtain interpretable results, whether for a particular SNP or otherwise. This would mean that DNAlysis is unable to report on the results for a particular health trait or condition.
As with all laboratories there is a small chance that the DNAlysis laboratory may report false positive or false negative results. A false positive result means that the genotype is reported as being present when it is actually not present; a false negative result means that they genotype is reported as being not present when it actually is present. DNAlysis assumes no liability arising from any such errors, technical and operational problems and/or false results however they may occur.
